The Maxi 1050 is the latest design in the Maxi series by World Champion and Olympic medalist Pelle Petterson. It is elegant and functional in design down to the smallest detail. For this 34-footer, parallel parking at low speed works excellently, and the sailing characteristics are delightful. It’s fantastic to sail with a beating foresail and mainsail. The 1050 goes as fast as ever and sails past most others.

The rigging is silent, and the boat obeys the rudder perfectly. Her stiffness allows for full-sail sailing while others fall back reefing. The Maxi 1050 moves very well even in lighter winds, gliding lightly in the water and answering the wheel wonderfully. Tacking is a joy with complete control from a fully functional cockpit.

Below deck, beautiful handmade joinery in teak has been varnished to a satin finish. The flooring of finished teak up to the galley creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
